VELAMP ST089 solar warning beacon

The VELAMP ST089 solar warning beacon is a reliable solution for safety marking on construction sites, for traffic restrictions, or in other hazardous areas. Thanks to its integrated solar panel and dusk sensor, it operates completely autonomously. It automatically switches on at dusk and turns off during the day to recharge the battery. The fluorescent body and two high-intensity LEDs ensure excellent visibility in all light conditions. Its durable polycarbonate construction is designed to withstand impacts, UV radiation, and adverse weather.

Automatic and self-sufficient operation

The beacon is designed for maximum self-sufficiency and minimal maintenance. The integrated dusk sensor automatically activates the warning light as soon as the ambient light decreases. During the day, the beacon switches itself off and the solar panel begins to charge the included Ni-MH battery. A full charge takes approximately 8 hours in sunny weather and provides power for up to 90 hours of continuous operation. This makes the beacon a reliable partner for long-term deployment without the need for an external power supply or manual operation.

Durable construction and easy installation

The body of the beacon is made of durable polycarbonate, which gives it increased resistance to impacts, UV radiation, and weathering. The IP44 rating confirms its protection against splashing water. The package includes an adjustable mounting bracket and a hot-dip galvanised steel handle, which make it easy to attach to cones, barriers, or other structures. The included KEY08 multifunctional key is used for adjustment and security, making installation quick and simple.
