VAPP aluminium ramp 2000/260 mm

The VAPP aluminium ramp is designed for easy loading of motorbikes, quad bikes or garden equipment. Its curved design significantly reduces the transition angle, making it easier to load equipment with a lower ground clearance without the risk of damaging the chassis. The ramp is made of aluminium, so it weighs only 7.5kg. The surface has a non-slip finish and is designed for loading to a height of 517–575mm.

Load capacity and conditions of use

The stated load capacities apply to a pair of ramps and vary according to the wheelbase of the vehicle being loaded. The maximum load capacity per pair is 1000kg with a wheelbase of 1200mm or more. For shorter wheelbases, the load capacity is progressively reduced. These values are valid for wheeled vehicles with two axles. If you need to load tracked vehicles, the manufacturer recommends choosing ramps with double the load capacity to avoid localised overloading.

Surface protection and correct loading

To maintain the ramp's functionality, it is important to handle it correctly. The surface can be damaged when loading vehicles with heavily soiled tyres, such as those with stones embedded in the tread. The ramp is also not intended for vehicles with metal tracks or wheels. To ensure proper function and maintain the load capacity, you must adhere to the recommended loading height of 517–575mm. Reducing the recommended loading height will proportionally reduce the overall load capacity.
