TPI bolt construction and finish
TPI bolts are based on high-grade chrome vanadium or chrome molybdenum steel (ASTM 4140 / SCM 440). Each piece undergoes a heat hardening process, which ensures consistent hardness and strength throughout its entire cross-section. The glossy black finish is created by zinc plating or triple nickel and chrome plating. To verify their properties, each production batch undergoes a salt spray test and a tensile test.
