Multipa VDP Steel Roof-Mounted Bike Rack with Lock

The Multipa VDP steel bike carrier is used for the safe transport of one bicycle on the roof of a vehicle. Its installation on the roof bars requires no tools, which greatly simplifies the entire process. The dual locking system protects both the bike itself from theft and the carrier attached to the car. The carrier has a maximum load capacity of 15kg and is suitable for most bicycles with a frame diameter of 28 to 40mm.

Universal tool-free installation

You can attach the Multipa VDP carrier to most common roof bars. It is compatible with both aluminium profiles with a T-track and classic square-profile steel bars up to 5.5cm wide. The installation itself is quick and easy because it requires no tools. All necessary mounting hardware, including the T-bolt, is included in the package, making it easy to get ready for your trip.

Dual locking for peace of mind on the road

The safety of the transported bike and the carrier itself is ensured by an integrated locking system. The bike is firmly attached to the carrier using a stable frame holder and then locked. At the same time, you can also lock the carrier to the vehicle's roof bars. Thanks to this dual security, you can leave your bike on the roof without worry, even during short stops.

Important instructions for a safe journey

To ensure a safe journey, it is necessary to follow a few principles. Before each trip, carefully check the tightness of all clamping elements and it is recommended to check again after driving approximately 150 metres. Remember that with the carrier mounted, the overall height of the vehicle increases. The maximum permitted driving speed is 80km/h and the total roof load must not exceed the limit set by the car manufacturer.
