A practical breathalyser from CA-TEC, the CA15FL, with an electrochemical fuel cell, which is the gold standard of handheld alcohol testers for personal and professional use, on par with police testers. Breath is directed into a fuel cell sensor with dual platinum electrodes, where alcohol is oxidised and generates an electrical current. By accurately measuring the current, the breathalyser provides a very precise measurement. The fuel cell sensor is specific to alcohol only and does not react to acetone, ketones, or other substances that may be present in human breath. The tester is equipped with an advanced temperature function that helps you operate it within the optimal temperature range.
