The ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR X870E HERO motherboard in ATX format with an AMD X870E chipset supports AMD Ryzen desktop processors for the AMD AM5 socket and is ready for AI PC builds. It supports DDR5 memory with overclocking up to 8600MT/s in four DIMM slots in Dual-channel mode with a maximum capacity of 256GB and NitroPath DRAM and AEMP technologies. The board includes five M.2 slots, three of which support PCIe 5.0 x4 and two support PCIe 4.0 x4. Advanced overclocking and cooling features
The Dynamic OC Switcher boosts processor performance and lets you set current and temperature thresholds to automatically switch between manual overclocking for demanding multi-threaded tasks and Precision Boost Overdrive for single-threaded tasks. Core Flex lets you control clocks, power, and temperatures in various ways. The board is equipped with an integrated clock generator that separates the processor's base clock from the memory, PCIe, and Infinity Fabric speed. PBO Enhancement increases the current and voltage supplied to the processor for higher performance. WiFi 7 offers a 320MHz wide 6GHz band, 4096 QAM with ASUS WiFi Q-Antenna. The ROG SupremeFX codec ensures high-quality audio output with Dolby Atmos technology.
Personalisation
The BIOS Q-Dashboard simplifies motherboard configuration with a visual representation of hardware connections and corresponding BIOS settings. M.2 Q-Release, M.2 Q-Slide, and M.2 Q-LATCH technologies make installing storage devices easier. The PCIe Slot Q-Release Slim allows for easy removal of graphics cards.
