The Alpinestars SUPERTECH S-M8 FACTORY motocross helmet in size XXL is designed for protection and comfort when riding off-road. The multi-composite shell with carbon and aramid fibres combines low weight with impact resistance. Safety is enhanced by MIPS technology, which helps to reduce the rotational forces acting on the brain during a fall. The A-HEAD system lets you precisely adjust the inner lining to the shape of your head. The interior is removable, washable and has hypoallergenic properties.

Construction and advanced protection

The helmet shell comes in four different sizes for a customised fit and safety. A key feature is the MIPS E-2 system, which consists of a low-friction layer between the comfort liner and the shell. This layer allows the helmet to move slightly on the head during an angled impact, thereby absorbing rotational energy. For accident scenarios, the cheek pads are equipped with an Emergency Release System (ERS). The bottom edge of the helmet has a softer profile to help protect the collarbone in a fall. The construction is also adapted for use with BNS neck braces.

Individual adjustment and ventilation

Comfort is ensured by the adjustable interior. The A-HEAD system for individual adjustment lets you alter the height and angle at which the helmet sits on your head. The inner liner is made from a combination of Coolmax and Talent Yarn materials. These fabrics effectively wick away sweat, have a cooling effect and possess antibacterial properties. The ventilation system was designed based on thermal mapping to ensure airflow and heat dissipation from key zones. All internal parts are removable and washable.

The SUPERTECH S-M8 helmet is packed with functional features. The patented quick-release peak system ensures that the peak detaches with a predetermined force in a fall, regardless of the impact angle, reducing the risk of further injury. The large viewport provides a wide field of vision and is compatible with most motocross goggles. The design incorporates channels for routing hoses from hydration packs. The TPE coating is washable and durable. It also includes a removable nose deflector and blanking plugs for when you are not using intercom headphones.
