The Alpinestars S-M5 SOLID motorcycle helmet in size XXL is designed for motocross and off-road riding. The thermoplastic shell is complemented by a multi-panel EPS core with five different densities, which effectively absorbs impact energy. For your comfort, the helmet has a removable and washable interior with a hypoallergenic treatment. It is also ready for intercom installation and meets ECE 22.05 and DOT safety homologations.

A construction for your safety

The helmet's shell is made from thermoplastic. Inside, there's a multi-panel EPS core with five different densities. This design enables targeted energy absorption depending on the force and location of the impact, increasing head protection. Another safety feature is the patented quick-release peak mechanism. In the event of a fall, the mechanism releases at the correct angle to minimise the risk of injury from it catching on something.

Helmet comfort and details

For your comfort, the helmet's interior is removable and washable. The fabric, with its antibacterial Silverplus® treatment, helps keep the inside fresh. In case of an accident, you'll appreciate the ERS emergency release system for the cheek pads, which makes it easier for emergency responders to remove the helmet safely. A high level of ventilation is ensured by a system of channels for the efficient removal of hot air. The helmet also has routing for a hydration pack hose and fastens with DD rings.
