The Alpinestars S-M5 helmet from the HONDA collection is designed for protection and comfort during motocross and enduro riding. The thermoplastic shell is complemented by an EPS foam core with five different densities to absorb impact energy. The helmet meets ECE 22.06 approval. A ventilation system ensures air circulation. The fully removable interior with an antibacterial treatment makes maintenance easy.

Advanced construction and safety

The helmet's shell is made from thermoplastic and comes in two sizes for a customised fit. The inner core consists of EPS foam with five different densities, which ensures impact absorption in every zone. The helmet meets ECE 22.06 approval; the results of direct impact tests exceed the standard's limits by 44% and for rotational impact by 70%. The lower profile is designed to minimise the risk of collarbone injury and incorporates a softer polystyrene blend.

Ventilation and comfortable interior

The ventilation system uses strategically placed inlets and outlets for air circulation. Perforations in the visor area direct air straight into the main ventilation channels, increasing cooling efficiency. The interior with Silverplus® treatment is fully removable and washable, making it easy to keep clean. The antibacterial fibres prevent odours from developing. A wide 26mm polyester fastening strap and double D-rings ensure the helmet stays securely on your head.

Practical features of the S-M5 helmet

The helmet is equipped with a patented mechanism that enables the quick release of the visor upon impact from any angle. This feature reduces the risk of injury. The Emergency Release System (ERS) for the cheek pads also enhances safety, letting emergency responders remove the helmet in the event of an accident. It is also prepared for hydration pack hose routing. The model is part of a collection created in collaboration with HONDA.
