The Alpinestars Halo Drystar men's motorbike jacket in size XL is designed for year-round use on adventure tourers or quads. It uses a layering system that lets you adapt the jacket to different weather conditions. For riding in warmer weather, you can detach the sleeves and roll up the front and back panels to reveal a breathable mesh. The jacket is also compatible with TECH-AIR®5 airbag vests, which increases the level of protection. The outer layer is made of a polyester fabric with a Ripstop finish.

A jacket for all weathers

The Halo Drystar jacket uses a layering system that lets you adapt to any weather conditions. For cold and rainy days, there's a removable DRYSTAR® membrane, which is 100% waterproof yet breathable. As soon as it warms up, you can remove the membrane. For maximum airflow, you can roll up and secure the front and back panels of the shell, which reveals large areas of breathable mesh and transforms the jacket into a summer version.

Protection and airbag compatibility

The rider's protection is ensured by a combination of materials and certified protectors. The polyester fabric shell with a Ripstop finish increases tear resistance. Joint protection is provided by CE-certified NUCLEON FLEX PRO protectors on the elbows and shoulders, which are integrated into the inner stretch layer of the sleeves. The jacket is also ready for Nucleon back protector inserts and is designed for full compatibility with TECH-AIR®5 airbag vests. The entire jacket meets CE AA certification.

Practical details for travellers

Details enhance comfort on long journeys. For riding in the heat, you can completely detach the sleeves, which have clear markings for easy reassembly. Storage space includes two side pockets, a large back pocket for storing the detached sleeves, and an outer mesh pouch for quickly stashing your gloves. Comfort is ensured by the pre-curved sleeve cut and stretch panels under the arms. You can easily adjust the width of the shoulders, forearms and cuffs using the Velcro straps and press studs.
