Fogstop - glasses remain fog-free even during very high physical activity

Fogstop is a coating applied to the inside of the lens. It's not smooth, but it's rough - when viewed through a microscope it looks quite cracked. This prevents moisture droplets from forming a covering layer, i.e. fog up the lens, which impairs visibility. This could only occur if the moisture level was such that all cracks were filled with water. But before that can happen, the stored moisture actually condenses and keeps the lens clean.
