The ZyXEL USG20W-VPN is an effective solution for remote connections in a commercial environment where maximum security for business communication is vital. The firewall uses innovative security technologies, so there is no risk of the VPN tunnel being breached by faster brute-force attacks using modern hardware. Traditional encryption algorithms used for VPNs (e.g., Message Digest 5 (MD5) and Secure Hash Algorithm 1 (SHA-1)) are therefore replaced by a newer variation (SHA-2) for the most secure VPN connection in its class. Another advantage is the backup WAN connection and automatic restoration of the primary connection.
