Dual optics for comprehensive shots
The camera uses two separate lenses to cover the largest possible area without blind spots. The 2.8mm focal length, f/1.6 aperture wide-angle lens provides a stable view of the entire room, while the 6mm focal length telephoto lens focuses on distant details. Both cameras record in 3MPx (2304×1296) resolution. This advanced video compression significantly reduces storage requirements and contributes to smoother data transmission over the network without loss of detail.
Hybrid night vision without disturbance
The camera ensures a clear picture even in very poor lighting conditions. The integrated high-sensitivity image sensor captures colour footage even in very low light. In complete darkness, the enhanced infrared night vision is activated, which uses twelve infrared illuminators with a wavelength of 940nm. These lights emit no visible red glow, so the camera does not disturb household members' sleep or attract unwanted attention during the night.
Smart motion detection and tracking
The built-in processor with an A35 architecture and 1 TOPS of computing power performs fast local analysis directly on the device. Both cameras support independent detection of people, sounds and virtual fence intrusions using artificial intelligence. When motion is detected in the fixed camera's view, the rotating part automatically points to that area. This linked motion tracking by two cameras helps to keep key events in the centre of the action and instantly sends a notification to your mobile phone.
Two-way communication with noise cancellation
The device is designed for easy remote communication with people or pets in the room. The camera body houses a built-in microphone and a large-diameter box speaker for loud audio output. The integrated artificial intelligence provides active cancellation of ambient noise and sounds during a call. This makes two-way audio transmission clear and intelligible for both parties, facilitating communication via the mobile app.
Flexible storage and connection options for the IP camera
Users have three different ways to securely store captured video footage. The main choice is the local MicroSD memory card slot, which supports capacities up to 256GB. In addition to the memory card, you can also use NAS network storage or encrypted cloud services. To protect privacy, sleep mode can be activated for each lens completely independently. A modern dual-band Wi-Fi 6 chip, which operates on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands and increases data throughput by up to 60% compared to older standards, provides a stable wireless connection. Pairing with a mobile phone is made easy by the integrated Bluetooth interface. The entire device is managed via the Xiaomi Home app, which is compatible with operating systems. A dedicated chipset with a unique encryption key protects the security of transmitted data.
