The Winix N filter cartridge works on the principle of comprehensive All-in-one filtration, combining three different filtration layers in a single body. The first stage consists of a pre-filter, followed by the main filtration medium – a True HEPA H13-class filter. This captures up to 99.97% of all solid particles down to 0.3 microns. The final layer is an active carbon CD filter designed to absorb unpleasant odours and harmful gases.
