The Ubiquiti UniFi Outdoor WiFi Access Point is a compact, dual-band Wi-Fi 5 access device for both indoor and outdoor installations. The polycarbonate access point operates in the 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency bands. Its IPX4-rated design protects the internal components from splashing water, making it easy to mount on building facades or masts. The device uses four spatial streams for efficient data flow distribution to connected users. Thanks to a wide operating temperature range of -30 to 70°C, it provides reliable performance in demanding climatic conditions all year round.

Wi-Fi Connectivity and Speed
The Ubiquiti UniFi AP AC Mesh operates with the Wi-Fi 5 standard and transmits a signal in two bands simultaneously. In the 5GHz band, it transmits data at speeds of up to 867Mbps, and in the 2.4GHz band, it provides speeds of up to 300Mbps. Data transmission uses 2×2 DL MU-MIMO technology for both frequencies and helps to handle more requests at once. Users can connect two detachable external antennas with a gain of 4dBi for 5GHz and 3dBi for 2.4GHz. These antennas help to efficiently direct the radiated signal to the desired areas. The maximum transmission power is 20dBm for both frequency bands for a stable wireless connection.
Network Coverage with Mesh Technology
The access point can cover an area of 140m². The system supports fast roaming according to the 802.11r standard and BSS transition management 802.11v. The network can connect more than 200 devices simultaneously without loss of stability. 802.11k radio resource management (RRM) helps to optimise signal distribution between individual nodes. The device also offers band steering and advanced radio management for seamless client transition.
Security
Data transmission is protected using encryption standards. The device offers client device isolation and a separate guest network. Security features include: WEP, WPA, WPA2, and WPA-Enterprise encryption, RADIUS over TLS (RadSec), RADIUS-assigned VLAN, Private Pre-Shared Key (PPSK).
Connector Options
A single 1Gbit RJ45 Ethernet port ensures a reliable network connection. It is powered exclusively via an Ethernet cable using PoE with a supported voltage range of 44 to 57V DC. A compatible PoE adapter is included in the basic product package. You can mount the device on a wall or on a pole with a diameter of 25 to 76mm using the included mounting brackets.
