Where is it? - Europe
Assemble a Map of Europe Using Geographical Coordinates
The board game Merre van? - Európa presents players with an unusual cartographic challenge. Your goal is to assemble a broken map of the European continent from individual pieces featuring cities. During each round, you place cards in the correct locations based on cardinal directions and geographical coordinates. Correctly guessing a location will earn you valuable points, while a misplaced city must be removed from the playing area. By connecting adjacent cards, you create point-scoring chains that determine the overall winner. This board game will appeal to 2–4 players aged 8 and up, with one game lasting approximately 25 mins.

Correct Geographical Guessing is the Path to Success
Playing as cartographers, you attempt to restore order to a jumbled map of Europe that has broken into individual pieces. Each participant chooses city cards from the selection and tries to place them correctly in relation to already-played locations, based on north-south and east-west orientation. The success of each of your moves is determined by accurate cardinal direction orientation. However, an incorrect guess of a city's location means you must immediately remove the card from the game board.
Dynamic Changes to the Card Layout
The playing area is constantly evolving at the hands of all participants. You can place a new card in a vacant spot or slide it between pieces already on the table. This manoeuvre shifts an entire row or column of cards and can completely change your opponents' plans. After turning a card over, you'll immediately see whether your geographical reasoning was correct and how accurate your guess was.
Two Game Variants for Different Difficulty Levels
The box contains game components for two different modes. Beginners can choose simpler rules to quickly familiarise themselves with the mechanics. Experienced opponents will appreciate the more challenging version of the game, which requires more precise planning and a higher degree of tactical decision-making. Both modes will test your spatial awareness and geographical knowledge.
