Building an army of unicorns in your own stable

Each participant starts the game with one baby unicorn in their Stable. The main task is to gather the required number of adult unicorns before your opponents do. To achieve this goal, you use the creatures' magical abilities and weaken your opponents' herds. A successful campaign requires constant vigilance and thwarting the plans of other rivals. The winner is the first person to fill their Stable with mythical creatures.

The four phases of each game turn

Players take turns clockwise, and each round consists of four phases. At the beginning, you evaluate the permanent effects of the cards in your stable and then draw a new card. In the action phase, you can play a unicorn, a magic spell, an upgrade, or a downgrade. Drawing cards expands your tactical options for the following rounds. At the end of your turn, you discard excess cards so that you have no more than seven left in your hand.

Special cards and rules for two players

The deck contains different types of cards, such as instant 'Nyeh' cards, which you can use to react to opponents' actions even when it's not your turn. For games with just two players, the creators have prepared modified rules. By removing specific cards, you get a balanced gameplay experience with tighter competition. The varied effects of spells and upgrades ensure that every game plays out differently.
