Discover the Interesting World of Prehistoric Animals

With the Schleich Psittacosaurus figurine, you can discover the interesting world of dinosaurs. What was the Psittacosaurus? The Psittacosaurus (or "parrot lizard") was up to 2 metres long and weighed 20kg. It was a herbivorous dinosaur. He lived about 135 to 105 million years ago. He did not have horns or bone bumps on his head, he did not even have a noticeable bone shield,  and could apparently run on his hind legs. But as with horned dinosaurs, he had a mighty parrot beak and other similarities. It is probable that he had bristles on his tail up to 20cm long, which could be colourful in males, thus fulfilling the role of attracting females.
