Easy to Use and Dose
Dyeing with Kreul JAVANA powder is easy thanks to the bottle, which simplifies both dosing and the subsequent storage of any unused contents. Since the fixing salt is already part of the mixture, you don't need to add anything else. Simply dissolve the dye in hot water. You can work with a range of temperatures, allowing you to adapt the process to different types of textiles. For delicate fabrics like silk, dyeing at temperatures from 50°C is sufficient. For cotton or linen, you can use temperatures up to 95°C.
For Creative Techniques
The dye isn't just for solid-colour dyeing; it's also suitable for creative techniques. You can experiment with it and create patterns using the shibori method, which involves various fabric tying and folding techniques. It is also suitable for dip-dyeing to create colour gradients. The dye can also be used to revive the faded colours of your favourite clothes and give them a new lease of life.
Shade Intensity and Fabric Care
You can easily control the intensity of the final shade by adjusting the amount of fabric used. If you use the entire 70g pack on 200 grams of textile, you will achieve a rich and vibrant shade. For a subtler, medium-intensity tone, the same amount of dye is sufficient for 400 grams of fabric. Always wash dyed textiles separately and at a maximum temperature of 40°C to maintain their colour. Dyed textiles are not resistant to boiling.
