5 torons

5 torons
Build the tallest towers in this tactical card game
In the board game 5 torony, players take on the role of master architects, competing to acquire the most advantageous cards. The goal is to build the tallest towers possible from various materials, with only one of each type allowed. Players must carefully consider their bids when auctioning for cards, as being too greedy early on can limit their tactical options in the later stages of the game. This strategic family game with Hungarian rules offers quick rounds with simple gameplay mechanics. The board game is designed for 2–5 players aged 7 and up, and one game lasts 15–30 minutes.

The role of the builder and planning your towers
As builders, you aim to construct the tallest structures possible from the available cards. Each player can only build five different towers, and each one must follow specific rules for stacking cards. A taller structure scores more points at the end of the game, but it requires precise planning and watching your opponents' moves as you acquire the individual pieces. The right timing is crucial for overall success.
Gameplay and the bidding mechanic
During their turn, players participate in an auction for the available building component cards. The player who makes the highest bid wins the selected cards and must immediately place them in their towers. However, collecting cards too quickly can block future building positions in subsequent rounds. Deciding between short-term gain and long-term planning is the main driver of the entire game.
