High-speed data transfer

The private cloud storage supports data synchronisation across different platforms and mobile devices. Synology Drive provides access to files from anywhere via a web browser. Teams can edit documents, spreadsheets, and presentations together in real time without losing control over their data. The Surveillance Station service turns the network storage into a monitoring centre with support for up to 40 IP cameras. The system supports a wide range of models. Users can save recordings simultaneously to local storage and to encrypted cloud storage for enhanced security.
Virtualisation and containers
The hardware, with its processor, supports the operation of virtual machines and applications in Docker containers. The Virtual Machine Manager creates isolated environments for testing software and running various operating systems. Network administrators can manage all associated Synology devices from a single central console. An Active Insight tool is also available for cloud-based monitoring of the status and performance of all connected servers.
