Both compartments close with a high-quality, durable zip with two sliders. There are also two flexible external mesh pockets on the sides, which children can use for a water bottle or an umbrella. The backpack also features a reflective strip on the front to increase visibility in twilight and darkness. It can stand stably thanks to a rubber foot on the underside. The long zips on both compartments allow the front of the backpack to be folded out, making it easier to access the contents.

It is mounted on a flat aluminium telescopic tube that can be extended to 3 different positions.
