Garmin Varia RVR 315

The Garmin Varia RVR 315 rear bike radar provides visual and audible warnings of vehicles approaching from behind, up to 140m away, greatly increasing your safety on the road. Conveniently paired with the Garmin Edge series cycling computer and most smartwatches, you'll see a bar of scrolling dots on the display when a vehicle approaches behind you. The radar can also be connected to a mobile phone via Bluetooth and the Varia app. Your mobile phone will also alert you when a car is approaching by vibrating.

Thanks to the colour background, you can get an idea of the speed of the approaching vehicle. Green indicates that the area behind you at a distance of 140 m is clear,orange colour symbolises a car approaching you and red colour means a car approaching at high speed. The radar offers a battery life of up to 7 hours on a single charge, with a subsequent charging time of approximately 2 hours. Garmin Varia RVR 315 reliably alerts you to approaching vehicles.
