The SCANGRIP TRIPOD EX tripod for stationary placement of NOVA-EX series EX PROOF lights from SCANGRIP is designed for hazardous environments with an explosion risk. The explosion-proof EX PROOF series is ideal for offshore work, the chemical industry, tanker vehicles, refineries and many other areas. It is therefore ideal for all industries where gas and dust pose a safety risk. The TRIPOD EX is designed to suit any work situation in hazardous areas where lighting at different heights and angles is key. The explosion-proof tripod extends from 1.35m to 3m and offers complete flexibility in positioning. The tripod is made of durable and sturdy powder-coated steel. To increase safety during use, cables can be placed in the safety clips located on each leg of the tripod. Cable winders are provided for any excess wire. The TRIPOD-EX is approved and certified by TÜV SÜD according to ATEX Directive No. 2014/34/EU, effective from April 2016.
