Rollei for Sony 35mm AF f/1.8 FE

35mm lens for natural perspective and reportage

The 35mm focal length lens is one of the classic types suitable for everyday use, especially in reportage photography. The natural perspective is useful for documentary, street and portrait photography and also allows creative work with depth of field. The minimum focusing distance of 40cm allows close-up shooting and expands the range of applications - from close-ups to wider reportage scenes.

F/1.8 aperture and smooth aperture control

The Rollei lens for Sony 35mm AF f/1.8 FE features an f/1.8 aperture with eleven lens blades for high luminosity and smooth background blur. Thanks to this, it can withstand low-light conditions. The Linear Aperture Ring allows quiet and smooth aperture control, which is practical for both still and video shooting.

Thanks to the advanced VAF optical design, the lens is optimized for mirrorless full-frame cameras and delivers high resolution across the entire image area - from the center to the edges. The special HFT-X coating effectively eliminates flare and ghosting by maintaining clear contrast even when shooting in backlight or low light conditions. Advanced STM autofocus ensures smooth and precise focusing with face and eye recognition support.

Handy controls and advanced lens functions

The aperture ring, AF/MF switch and programmable FN button create clear and intuitive controls right on the lens. The Metal E-Mount provides a solid connection to the camera and full support for EXIF data transfer. There is an integrated USB-C port in the lens body for quick firmware updates without the need for additional accessories. The process takes approximately 30 seconds. A 62mm thread is available for the use of filters, allowing better control over exposure and the resulting atmosphere of the images.
