What’s good about the ingredients:
High-quality base ingredients: Glycerin, almond oil and shea butter (Butyrospermum Parkii) are excellent and effective ingredients for hydration. Natural extracts: Contains real aloe vera juice and raspberry extract, not just chemicals.
What lowers the quality:
Synthetic silicone (Dimethicone): This appears quite high up in the ingredients list. It creates a smooth film on the skin, which gives more of a feeling of “artificial” softness rather than actually nourishing the skin.
Potential allergens: Ingredients like Limonene, Methylpropanediol and synthetic perfume can irritate more sensitive skin.
Active ingredients are right at the end: Raspberry, aloe and shea butter are listed after the thickeners. This means their concentration in the product is very low (to put it simply, they're just a drop in the ocean).
Conclusion: For normal, non-demanding skin, this is a decent product that smells nice. However, if you have dry, eczematous or sensitive skin, you'd be better off looking for products without silicones and strong perfume.
