I bought the bike again. this time it was obvious it was fresher. the battery was in a separate package, completely out of juice. I charged it up and tried driving it. the bike rides great and the speed hopefully matches the real thing. so I'd improve the rating but I can't anymore.

I acquired it and gave the bike a try. was twice as fast as Real was. the engine cut out at 12 km per hour. apparently the software has been corrupted by prolonged battery drainage. on the bike there was a label year construction of 2022. i.e. if the bike was in the box for three years, as if it was sealed, then the battery may be damaged beyond repair, which is the most expensive part and may manifest itself later. so that's why the deep discount. I didn't want to wait for a repair and argue about the battery warranty and I returned the bike within 14 days. we buy a lot from alza, but this is a big disappointment. damage
