The microphone simply doesn't work. It looks simple, there is only one cable and a reducer, but the computer doesn't detect the microphone through either (sometimes it pops up as "output" i.e. "headphones", but never as a microphone). There is also no installation software to solve the problem detection, etc. After X hours of googling and searching for where the fault might be, I conclude that it is either a defective piece or I need to add more proprieties to the microphone, which I don't want to invest in just because of that. to see if that solves the problem. Disappointing.
