Adding the band to HomeKit was very easy by scanning the QR code, nothing else was needed. Not even installing another app and registering. Maybe that app offers more features, but if you just need brightness and color control, HomeKit is fine. However, I confirm the slight whistling of the source when the tape is turned off, therefore unsuitable for installation in quiet spaces such as bedroom.

Easy installation
When switched off, the power supply buzzes. In noisier environments this is negligible, however I do not recommend placing this strip in the bedroom or near the bed.
I was unable to connect the strip to Homekit after several attempts, after adding it to the Homekit app the strip is in the "not responding" state. However, it works seamlessly with the Yeelight app.

When switched off or when the lighting intensity is low, the plug adapter whistles/buzzes slightly. You won't even notice it during the day, but I definitely don't recommend having it near your bed.

there is only one negative, but relatively significant - I have already purchased 2 pieces at home and both of them have an unpleasant "buzzing" source for the led strip. It depends on the brightness level, but if you have a led strip in your bedroom by the bed, for example, you'd better check out the competition
