I bought this because I stripped the head of a large screw in my car lock. I had to drill into the screw first. You mustn't rush it; first, I drilled with a 1.5mm drill bit, right in the middle of the screw head. Then a wider 2.5mm, then 3.5mm. At first, I tried the smallest size extractor. I knew that would snap. Then I tried the second size. That would have snapped too. So I drilled it wider to about 5mm. Then I used the 3rd size of extractor. It was a bit narrower than the diameter of the screw. I slowly turned it with the tap wrench. When the tension got really strong, there was a small bang. I thought the tap wrench was probably done for. But no, a miracle happened – that cursed screw, which had been tightened for almost 20 years, finally moved. After that, I got it out nicely. A miracle. On top of that, my door was stuck shut, and I finally got it open. The main thing to remember is to always use an extractor that's just a little smaller than the diameter of the screw you want to loosen. Otherwise, you'll overload it and it will snap. My screw wasn't rusted. So it's hard to judge the quality of the material, it's probably nothing special.
