If I were to give the Intuos PRO from Wacom 5 stars (and I would), then in comparison, I would rate this XPPen about 3 and a half stars. Since that's not possible and I have to give a whole number rating, I'm giving it 4 stars, because 3 would be unfair. I was switching from an Intuos PRO L, which is huge, and for a long time its size had become more of a hindrance and an annoyance. I use the tablet for editing image data, sculpting and 3D modelling, and for that, the size of this XPPen is absolutely ideal. Personally, I could do without the programmable buttons (which I disabled immediately on the Wacom anyway), however, I appreciate that they are at least located on the side of the tablet, so they don't unnecessarily increase its height, thus saving desk space. The tablet buttons are programmable, the pen buttons are customisable. However, compared to the Intuos PRO Pen, the pen feels very flimsy and a bit like a plastic toy. I still have trouble pressing the lower of the side buttons when gripping the pen. The tablet detects the pen even when hovering (with a slightly shorter range than the Intuos PRO), the surface material isn't the worst, but it doesn't match the quality of the plastic film from Wacom. The XPPen doesn't support gestures (which doesn't bother me personally), the pen has 3 buttons (compared to the Intuos PRO pen where the 4th button acts as an eraser, which can be useful for drawing) and it also detects tilt on the pad. Someone who is used to a Wacom Intuos PRO will have to make some concessions and accept certain compromises, but on the other hand, the XPPen offers quite a lot of bang for your buck. If the basic Intuos had the same pen and surface as the PRO version, I'm not sure if I wouldn't have chosen that one (in size M) for a very similar price. As it is, the XPPen is a very decent and functional choice for the price.
Ideal size (if you're not getting a tablet for drawing)
minimalist design
wireless option (ideal for carrying with a laptop and working on the go)
pen tilt reading
great price x performance ratio
the lack of gestures for some
The pen is very delicate and I'm still having a bit of trouble with its ergonomics
The tablet could detect the pen from a greater distance from the surface

Nice paper texture tablet- good for transitioning from traditional drawing to digital
Tablet size just right for a laptop
