Voice control on the remote only works for YouTube; it doesn’t work for other apps. Even if I use voice control in another app, it always switches over to YouTube and searches there. It’s a bit of a let-down, but it’s probably down to Google TV’s functionality, and Xiaomi isn’t to blame.

I think the price is too high, the equipment is different in performance. Feel free to buy it, money can't buy better. Cpu supposedly more powerful than in Google Streamer. We had a Chromecast with google tv where the picture was choppy with Disney, it's the frequency difference, Netflix was choppy too. Nothing crashes on this one, it's extremely fast on google tv. Switching between apps is absolutely fast. I've been looking for a long time for a replacement for the old Chromecast and this is currently the best choice. I don't need Xiaomi, but they go BOMBS!
