Bought as a gift. I like the large battery and the charging speed. I expect regular software updates for several years, or at least security updates in line with EU rules. Xiaomi is good at playing with the price (introductory discounts, gifts with purchase, a cover in the box), but unfortunately, this still comes at the cost of bloatware and ads in system apps. Although you're supposed to be able to turn them off, it's a question of whether they'll just come back with an update. Otherwise, the phone came with 256GB as standard, which is great, and it feels snappy with no stuttering. I like the camera setting options – compared to the native camera app on the Pixel 8a, there are loads of options here.
