I've really fallen for it now. I wanted to extend the existing WiFi from the Xiaomi 5G modem, which according to the manual supports MESH networks, but I just wasted money. I've been fussing with it for an hour now, and it's not even working as a secondary network - I can't see it. I set, try, reset, repeat. It's just not a brand I can trust.
Connection via cable only - does not allow connection to existing wifi.
The settings are always in Chinese or the text translations are missing altogether, even when I have English set to English.
Apart from the included universal little booklet, there are no instructions - not even from the manufacturer.
Neither setting up with the app nor adding a set device to the app works.
