Windows detects them via Bluetooth (v5) as stereo, without the possibility of surround sound. USB = 7.1, BT = 2.0, the difference in sound quality even when connected via BT is abysmal compared to USB even at a distance of one meter from the source.

I've always bought headphones in the 2-4k price range, I've had razers, logitechs, sony and others and finally these from MS are awesome and the best of all. Not perfect but almost perfect at this price. The biggest minus for me is the microphone which even at the lowest sensitivity takes everything and on discord I have to mit push to talk otherwise people slisej every click on the keyboard that npr razerky could filter out just fine

They work great with the Xbox, but since our main use was in the workplace and for video conferencing, the functionality with a Windows PC is absolutely disastrous. The wireless connection via the official adapter from MS is unstable, after much investigation we found out that it is due to the surround sound. Unfortunately neither DTS Headphone X nor Atmos for Headphones works. Wired connection via USB-C disconnects randomly after 10-30 minutes and doesn't work at all until PC restart. Of course all the standard procedures like resetting the headphones, updating firmware and drivers didn't help at all. Since you don't need surround sound for calls anyway you can use them after turning off those features, but overall as a product I would avoid them with a big arc. Especially if you want to use them for gaming, which is probably what most customers want.

With the product I am dissatisfied I go to advertise the second piece of the first just stopped working did not charge, did not shine just did not work at all. This kind I go to advertise because the sound drops out in very short intervals just such a gentle constant interruption. But abbot as ever goes well sometimes I just don't play. And the paradox of it all is that I use the headset two times a month, so I go to claim after a long time unused thing that does not work as it should. I'm definitely not buying a third one
