I'm afraid I can't recommend it. We had a Whirlpool induction hob for over 10 years and unfortunately it passed away. I bought this one, it looked similar and has very similar controls. So 50 percent performance. previously bringing the water to a boil like a kettle, now about ø minutes on the strongest hotplate. A double-plate is a heating device, it is impossible to fry an onion in a roasting pan. Impossible to heat a steak pan.
The extra functions are really useful, and are at the touch of a button - only the mode icons are a bit interchangeable, the simmer and braise are very similar. The timer switches the hob off after a set time - great for pasta or rice. The rimless design means dirt under the rim, the bottom rubber is quite high, and even after half a year it hasn't settled down significantly, so crumbs stick between the glass and the kitchen countertop, but just squeeze with a sponge when cleaning. I am satisfied and will probably get the same one for the second kitchen. I could not find a better price/feature combination.
