It also has other functions that I don't use, the eco program is rubbish in my opinion, because it consumes very little water and the laundry is actually lying in dirty water for 4 hours. But that's not a plus or a minus of this washing machine, that's just a fact and all new washing machines have that program.
I'll probably only use the Synthetics programme, which I think is a bit of a mix - it washes 4.5kg of laundry, uses 60 litres of water, washes at 40°C, I can add up to three soaks and it takes just over two hours, so that's just about right.
Next time I'd buy an AEG, which I originally wanted, but then I ended up choosing a whirlpool, but probably at the cost of the negatives I've listed here.
Otherwise, but I guess this is a general point for all front loading washing machines - I don't see how it can hold 9kg of laundry when it barely held what we put in our old top loading whirlpool, which only held 5kg of laundry. so anyone who wants a bigger washing machine should take that into account and look for something with an even bigger capacity.
