We own the second model of this oven and Whirlpool brand. The original AKP 458 IX model first after about 5 years began to malfunction on the digital time display and after 10 years the lower body went (I replaced it as a layman for 400Kč including shipping), but even so the oven was running at 100% performance as it could, I did not buy a replacement thermostat (1.600, -Kč), but the whole oven. Replacing this means unscrewing the whole oven and digging through the glass wool as insulation is not very entertaining. I think 10 years was a pretty good lifespan for this oven model.
