We have a classic Weber on charcoal and it is really Top! We wanted an alternative where you just turn a knob and the grill heats up before you prepare everything. Because we have surplus electricity from PV, electricity made sense. We chose Weber again to make it work, but the price is high. The assembly is simple, it looks really beautiful and the materials are of high quality! Only the cast iron bars are not arrested in any way and move freely. Unfortunately, the joy ended with the first barbecue. At the beginning we found it strange that the spiral was still heating up even when the grill was on minimum. We let it heat up to max for a long time, maybe 45 minutes. Then they started the steaks, unfortunately the temperature was still low. The cast iron does make a "grit" on the meat, but this is due to the low temperature of the dropped state. It won't even make a wink when you turn it over. Steaks practically to throw away! Hats and vegetables quite ok.
I don't understand how Weber can sell this at all. A total disgrace! Too bad it is already used and cannot be returned. Money wasted! He's going to the bazaar! For lovers of good barbecue - DO NOT use!
