It washes well, the kids don't itch after washing. I have a reservation about the tendency to make glued lumps in the washing machine tray. Compared to the UNIVERSAL version of the same brand, COLOR has a finer texture. While the coarser Universal I can put into the tray, the Color needs to be spread evenly over the entire surface of the tray (just swipe the drawer a few times), otherwise it makes a wet lump and the washing machine runs the whole cycle basically without powder.
