I took a chance and it fits perfectly on my Marshall Major III headphones, even though they aren’t listed as compatible in the description. I assume this is because the only difference from version II is the material used to cover the transducers.
I can’t comment on the quality and durability just yet, as I’ve only been using them for a short time.
I bought them because, after three and a half years, the original ear pads had started to crumble. Let’s see how long these replicas from China last.
Unlike the original ear pads for the Major II, these have faux leather around the edge and are stitched differently. The same material is also used on the headband, so they complement each other well in appearance.
They sit comfortably on the ears without any extra pressure.
They were easy to put on; they feel a bit stiffer, but perhaps that’s exactly why they’ll stay in place.
