I don't know what to think. I bought it thinking it had 512 thermal resolution, but both the product and the manual state that the resolution is 256. I have nothing to compare it with as I don't have another camera. Could it be a "printing error"? Or is it just some more happy marketing. It gives me the impression that the 512 is just an image filter over the 256. Or some sort of interpolation. I don't know, I guess there's nothing I can do about it. You probably can't buy anything better anyway.
