I don't know who the product is designed for, but when trying to disconnect e.g. micro switch from the xbox controller board it's unusable. If you hit the interval when the solder is hot (see what I write below), you still won't remove the switch because the tin won't melt enough. On the other hand, when you want to solder something, you wait a minute or so for the tin to melt, there's about a 20sec interval where the solder melts and keeps the tin in a liquid state, then somehow it mysteriously cools and you're in the bag, waiting about 1min for another 20sec heating interval. It's a klump, I definitely can't recommend it.

After the first hour, it stopped working, was sometimes lukewarm and seemed to be heating up. Even after completely cooling down, pulling it out and plugging it back into the plug didn' t help. I ruined my work and wasted money on this scumbag, I recommend paying extra for a higher quality spider or borrowing from someone. It was a punishment to work with.
