I have bought this same one in the past at OBI. I know it worked reliably, but there was a problem with the hooves - the fittings could be inserted even when cold. Then it got lost somewhere when I started making pressed alpex. I needed to connect a PPR to an accident in a building. I decided to give it a shot after a couple of years, thinking it must have been a bad batch, and now I see the really bad quality of the Teflon again. I would prefer to be able to buy the device separately for five hundred cheaper and buy quality hooves for it. Škoda. For some home bonding, probably ok.

Considering the purchase price, one could turn a blind eye.
The welding machine itself does not give me a bad impression at all. But the attachments left me with my wits about me.
Some of them came on the contact surfaces without spraying, well, the spraying was done, but someone probably forgot to let it dry and tore it off with an anti-caking agent. I recommend to tear off the edges of the castings before use, otherwise they will not sit well on the heater.
It did the job without the coating (32mm PPR).
It's good for a little home chewing.
