This flighstick should be one of the better ones. However, the cons, even if they are fewer, outweigh the pros. Mainly it is a very stiff spring, which makes it impossible to make completely gentle movements. One literally struggles with the flighstick and thus always overdoes how much one actually wants to "spin". A softer spring would have suited this flighstick much better.
In addition, my piece still had problems with the throttle levers - levers on both sides - when some sort of moving deadzone manifested itself. When I stepped on the gas, everything was fine. But when I decided to ease off the throttle slightly - moving back about 1mm - nothing happened. Another 1-2mm still no response, then it cut the throttle. And that's more than I wanted.
It's a pity, because if it weren't for these two ailments, the others could be nicely overlooked and you would have a nice new flighstick at home with universal ergonomics for left and right-handed users.
A bunch of buttons to configure
2 throttle levers
Hall sensors on main axes including twist
Nice backlight
BT mobile app
Trimming wheel
Rubber grip
Terribly stiff spring - makes steering with two fingers and therefore fine motor skills impossible
Both throttle levers have a movable deadzone - it is not possible to change the thrust continuously
Touchpad directly above the trim-wheel -> accidental touches
The buttons next to the trim wheel have no resistance - you never know when you'll accidentally press it while trimming
It doesn't suit me personally, but if you prefer a stiffer joystick then why not. For the price it is very nicely processed, has mechanical buttons (as in mouse), mini touchbar for mouse and a lot of other conveniences.
Very nicely processed
Lots of quality buttons, levers, sliders
Backlight
Left-handed/right-handed change option
Very stiff spring with no possibility of adjustment
The joystick is too light and so it often tilts and lifts with the lever, if you mount the joystick in a holder you can eliminate this problem.
Verified purchase - review from a price comparison website
Quality workmanship but poor technical solution.
The longitudinal rotation of spacecraft is solved by turning the joystick handle left/right - unfortunately the return spring is so strong that sensitive rotation is not possible and the ship is destroyed near the bases. It is an unrecoverable defect-the manufacturer would have to redesign this return system. It's the only mistake, but it's a crucial one.
it is difficult to find a use for the second sliding pack.
