The hoop served well at the beginning, even surviving dozens of minor crashes. Even the impact was quite surprising. However, after about a year, the battery capacity started to show a significant decrease compared to the beginning. Well, at least we thought so and started using the parent unit with a powerbank. When the kids were bigger and more agile, they managed to break the antenna on the parent unit, and if you can't position it sensibly, you can forget about the longer range. The smallest one pulled the camera by the cable and threw it on the ground. The camera worked, but the signal was much weaker, realistically it could not be used even through the wall. That's when I decided to disassemble both units. Although the product is still under warranty. And I came up with the following: 1. Both the camera and the parent unit are surprisingly well designed and assembled even for repeated disassembly.
2. After disconnecting the battery on the parent unit and reconnecting it, the charging logic seems to reset and the flashlight lasts much longer again
3. The camera has one small flaw - the motor that controls the vertical movement pushes on the pigtail of the antenna, and in a steep drop this pigtail disconnects from the board. So I plugged the pigtail back in the camera and connected a standard WiFi antenna connector to the parent unit (since it all works on 2.4GHz, it works great) No one will probably take away my warranty, but I didn't have to wait and everything works as it should. Because of a few design flaws, there's no need to throw it away or complain - these problems will always occur over time.
