Strangely enough, it was probably a fault in the prehistoric Mini USB cable, it reacted to movement and the camera lost voltage. On the third claim, the money was refunded, I won't risk it any more. The only positive thing about the camera is the glass mount and the image quality, the rest is worth a fortune.

If I'm driving in the dark without lights, I can only read the number plate when I'm going about 7 km/h and other cars are stationary - then I can read the number plate for about 0.5 seconds - the moment the light stops on it (so there's a white rectangle) and before the light stops completely (so there's a black rectangle)) - so there's a small window when the number plate is readable. It is more suitable for a van - little possibility to turn the camera - for our car it is completely on the edge. With the windshield up more, I'm shooting the sky. Nowadays, I would expect the camera to have USB type C as well as the 2nd end of the cable. Setup is easy, installation in the car is easy too. If I could, I'd give it 2.5 stars, the night shots were pretty disappointing.
