After purchasing and subsequently using the product, I discovered that one of the essential and commonly expected features is not supported on the iOS platform, namely: - the ability to initiate outgoing phone calls with active two-way translation directly from the app. Following my enquiry, the manufacturer Timekettle has provided me with an official written statement in which it explicitly confirms that:
- this feature is not supported on iOS,
- This is not a setting error or user configuration,
- the limitation comes from the product and platform design,
- and this may not be obvious to the customer prior to purchase. This official manufacturer's statement is attached as an appendix. As this is a limitation that has a significant impact on the practical usability of the product and was not obvious from the offer, I hereby claim a discount of 10% on the purchase price. Since I am not currently in the Czech Republic, a price discount is the only realistic form of compensation. At the same time, I believe that including this information in the product description could prevent misunderstandings by other customers in the future, thereby protecting both consumers and sellers.
