I'm a heavy amateur in the kitchen, so take me with a grain of salt. But I wasn't too impressed with the grater. The problem is that hard vegetables like carrots have a very high resistance on it, so when you want to grate them lengthwise to make the noodles as big as possible, it's really hard. After the first grating lengthwise, I cut myself several times and the grater is bleeding. I grate on it classically against the perimeter of the vegetable and it goes well, but the noodles are then terribly short and actually it is not much different from a normal grater.

Perfect grater, grates beautiful thin fries. Julienne vegetables are a whole different level than ordinary grating - in soup, in salad (the fruit stays crunchy, great for kids), in Asian dishes. Awesome. I've been looking for a long time and after a long time I don't regret buying a kitchen "gadget", it really pays off. The only shame is that they didn't make the whole series with interchangeable grating surfaces, then it would have been perfect. This way, each grater has to be bought separately.
