I also opted for a new insert even though it wasn't necessary. Many lengths can be set, but not every length. You may find that you have a lot of projection into the room. However, this has no effect on the actual operation of the lock.
Using the new Tedee lock insert makes the installation of the entire remote control system easier.
Adjusting the length of the entire insert is easy.
It is not possible to adjust any length of the insert. I recommend reading the manual first.
The insert only has three keys, but I think I'll end up using at most one as a backup: -)
It looks like a defective piece, I will try another one and modify the review accordingly. I can't recommend it yet.

the pen, which is supposed to allow turning the lock from the inside after pulling the handle from the outside, is terribly broken, so the situation arose that after locking from the outside you cannot get out of the house, which is good for uncle Fritzl, but not for normal people who sometimes want to get out of the house.
if you need spare keys, believe that there is one dealership in the Czech Republic and it orders keys in Poland anyway. We ordered replacement keys 3 weeks ago and they still haven't arrived. you can urge all you want, but you just can't do anything
Watch the description, the first dimension is the interior and the second dimension is the key. The opposite of the usual. So who needs 30/** so order now gerda 1

it is not possible to simply add another key (there are 3 in the package), I did not find a dealer in the Czech Republic, I had to order it from Poland from the manufacturer. However, I recommend waiting to add the keys, you probably won't need them anyway: -)
I will be returning it because nowhere was it written that the first unzipping is outward and the second inward, so my lock is reversing from the outside, which is not safe.
